I am a tango DJ and a social dancer, and those two things are inseparable for me. Everything begins with connection: connection to the music, to the embrace, and to the shared experience unfolding on the dance floor.
When I step behind the console, I don't leave the floor. I simply find another way to be present on it. As a DJ, it feels as if I dance with the ronda, listening closely to the room, responding to its energy, and shaping the milonga as an ongoing dialogue between dancers and music.
My sets are rooted in the depth, elegance, and richness of the Golden Age orchestras. That is where my heart lives. Into that classic landscape, I occasionally weave carefully chosen modern gems, sparingly and intentionally, always in service of the room rather than my own preferences.
I care deeply about the flow of a milonga: the warmth in the room as the evening opens, the moments of collective stillness mid-tanda, and the glow on the floor at the end of the night. Every tanda and every cortina is selected with purpose, building the emotional arc of the evening, each one a chapter in a story the entire room is writing together.
My musical style is warm and responsive, bringing a feminine sparkle while embracing the full emotional range of tango, from playful and lighthearted to grounded, lyrical, intimate, and deeply moving.
My approach to DJing has been shaped by the generosity of exceptional mentors. I am grateful to Felipe Martínez, Ayano Yoneda, and the late Igor El Espejero, whose guidance, knowledge, and love for tango influence how I listen, learn, and share music.
Just as I care about the emotional journey of a milonga, I care deeply about the technical details. I play only high-quality transfers from TangoTunes, Tango Time Travel, and reputable CD labels, ensuring warm, rich, and balanced sound on the dance floor. I also bring a fully prepared backup laptop to every event, so the focus always remains where it belongs: on the dancers and the music.
Nothing brings me greater joy than creating a milonga where dancers feel connected, inspired, and completely immersed in the music.
